Source Of Impact: Vendor

Start Time:2020-02-24 13:00:00
End Time:2020-02-24 22:00:00
DescriptionStarting Monday, February 24, 2020 through Wednesday, February 26, 2020 beginning at 8:00AM ET and ending at approximately 5:00PM ET each day, Lifeline Data Centers and Mitsubishi Engineers will be performing scheduled mandatory, major preventive maintenance inspections on all 9 UPS systems at the 401 North Shadeland Avenue facility and all 4 UPS systems at the 733 West Henry Street facility. The major inspection routine dictates that the UPS systems be placed in external bypass as part of the service. External bypass is an OSHA and arc flash safety requirement due to the close proximity of live 480-volt power to some of the work being performed. External bypass is a manual process which externally wraps power around the UPS system. Should a utility power failure occur while the UPS system is bypassed, the power feed will be protected by generator only. Some important notes regarding the procedure: - The external bypass procedure is electrically a make-before-break process. This means that the power feed to the output side of the UPS system will not be interrupted by the wraparound procedure or at any time during the process. - Each unit will be in external bypass mode for about 1 hour. - Only 1 unit at each facility will be in external bypass mode at any given time. *Please note - This is maintenance window 1 of 3. The second activity date is scheduled for Tuesday, February 25, 2020. the third activity date is scheduled for Wednesday, February, 26, 2020.
